What technicians skip on the job sheet after a leak repair under a sink
The warranty photo fails in a dim kitchen. Gloves and rain make the signature field a joke at the grille.

The office wanted three photos: the leak before, the fitting after, and the area wiped dry. Under a sink with one window, the “after” photo looked wetter than the job because of flash on laminate. The technician had learned to skip it. The office then chased him on WhatsApp for a picture he knew would be argued over.
A findings walkthrough does not scold that technician. It names the photo rule that cannot be kept in that kitchen. Some crews now accept two photos and a one-line note (“cabinet still drying”). Others carry a small lamp. Either change is a decision for the owner. The sitting’s job is to stop pretending the sheet is being filled in a well-lit workshop.
Signature capture at the grille, with gloves still on, is the other regular skip. If the app refuses to close the job without a scrawl, technicians close it in the van later and the timestamp lies. Watch one afternoon of leak repairs and you will see which of those two stalls is yours.
