What a Kuching sitting costs
Prices below are starting figures for work in Kuching. Travel, evening hours, a Malay-language note, or extra observed jobs are quoted before we hold a date.
Utilityspring charges for time in the room and for the findings note that follows. There is no monthly plan and no “seat” price. If the stall you care about cannot be watched in a half day, we say so before you pay a deposit.

What moves the figure
- Travel. Kuching city is included. Kota Samarahan, Bau, or a night in another Sarawak town is quoted as time, not as a hidden markup on the sitting itself.
- Language of the note. English is the default. A Malay findings note adds translation time.
- How many booking types. A sitting that tries same-day air-con, a leak repair, and a cleaning visit in one morning is still one sitting; if each needs a different login or a different counter, we may split days.
- Recording. If you want us to record a householder (with their agreement), say so up front. Extra handling of recordings is quoted; many crews prefer notes only.
Deposits and invoices
A 30% deposit holds the date. The balance is due when the findings note is delivered, or on the day of a follow-up session if no note is owed. Invoices are in ringgit. We do not take card payments on this site; settlement is by bank transfer after the office sends the invoice.
When we will not quote a fixed price
If your “app” is still a mix of WhatsApp, a spreadsheet, and one half-built request form, we can still sit with you, but the estimate depends on what can actually be watched. Write with a short description and we will say whether a booking-flow sitting is honest or whether a dispatcher morning is the better first hour.
