How we handle the details you send
This notice explains how Utilityspring handles personal details when you write to the office, book a sitting, or use this website.
Data controller
Utilityspring, Office 9, 64 Demo Road, Kuching 00000, is the controller for personal details collected through this website and through sittings we deliver. Email info@utilityspring.click or call +60 82 000 3290.
We handle personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended, and other applicable Malaysian law.
What we collect
- Contact form and email: name, email address, the sitting you have in mind, preferred date, trade, and the message you write. We do not ask for identity-card numbers, medical details, or payment-card numbers on this form.
- Sittings: names and roles of staff you introduce, and — only if you and they agree — limited notes about a householder’s booking attempt (for example, that an address in a named area failed). We ask you to keep customer lists on your side.
- Cookies: see the cookies notice. Essential storage may remember a cookie choice. We do not need an account to browse the site.
Why we use it
To reply to sitting requests, to prepare and deliver a visit, to write a findings note, to invoice, and to keep records we may need for accounting or a dispute. We do not sell lists of home-service owners.
Retention
Enquiry messages we do not take to a sitting are kept up to 18 months, then deleted or de-identified. Contracts, invoices, and findings notes are kept for seven years unless a longer period is required for a legal claim. Cookie choice in your browser lasts until you clear storage or we change the key, as described on the cookies page.
Your rights
Subject to Malaysian law, you may ask to access, correct, or limit our use of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example, optional cookies). Write to info@utilityspring.click. You may also complain to the Department of Personal Data Protection in Malaysia.
International transfers
Our website host or email provider may store copies outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we use providers who offer a contract and security appropriate to a small professional practice. Findings notes are not published on this site.
Children
Sittings are for home-service companies. We do not knowingly collect details from children through the contact form.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date of the sitting confirmation, or the date you last submitted the form, is the version that applied to that enquiry.
